We’ve made them! These are the new production model of our collapsible handle tool. They are a 130cm long handle that breaks down into 3 sections for easy transport and packing in and out of a trail, for remote fire fighting or other tasks that require a reliable, strong and light weight hand tool that fits int a small bag. 

This is the new Packable/collapsible version of our 130cm tool handle and will work with all our medium and large tool heads, so you can mix and match the tool to the job.

Currently version 1 has been in testing with trail builders across Australia and NZ, making sure we get the best possible product before we bring it to market, and from their feedback we've designed and tested version 2 and 3. Now version 4 is being engineered locally and it all looks great with a super simple and reliable locking mechanism.

Our unique internal tube joiner means there is no chunky join or lever or thick junction on the handle, making the handle smoother and allowing easy hand placement, but still allows for a super strong connection and is easy take apart.

The aluminium reinforcement on the fibreglass tubing fits into our tool head clamp and locks together with a simple lever action.

The 130cm pultruded fibreglass handle is 32mmm diameter and has a slight texture for added grip. The shock absorbing qualities of the handle is better than timber alternatives, yet it is still incredibly strong and durable. This is clamped into our large aluminium connector and bolted together using M8 stainless steel carriage bolts and nylock nuts for strength and easy servicing.
