Fire Rake - Small

This tools is designed for serious duties on the fire line and can handle all the same hard work that the larger fire rake can do, just in a slightly smaller and slightly lighter design.

• 4 prong rake teeth easily cut through thick scrub and undergrowth and can rake bark, twigs and leaves quickly,
• Short spike teeth can grab into wood or branches to pull them out of the way, bust up hard ground and scarify a fire break.
• Deep V notched end is sharpened and easily cuts tree roots or small saplings and branches, with the shape helping prevent the tool slipping off the side.
• A wide and sharpened flat edge helps scrape back ground cover and can easily cut through grass clumps.
• Carabiner attachment hole in the blade allows easier transport options or attaching to your pack for remote access
• Bolt together construction allows for easy parts replacement or maintenance

Made from hardened Australian made high carbon spring steel, the 3mm thickness is thicker than most other Rakehoe's on the market and provides long lasting durability, toughness and strength.

The 130cm pultruded fibreglass handle adds shock absorption and is a good length for most users. This is clamped into our aluminium connector and bolted together using M8 stainless steel carriage bolts and nylock nuts for strength and easy servicing.

We believe this is the ultimate lightweight, high performance fire tool and is especially good for remote work where carrying a lighter tool can reduce user fatigue and risk of injury. 

This tool is also great for trail builders and landscapers wanting a smaller size tool for their needs.

Handle and tool head are available separately for replacements or interchanging with other tool heads.
