JTS Kids tool

The JTS Small tool was originally developed with the Jindabyne Trail Stewardship to make it easier for kids to join in trail maintenance days with their parents and have a tool that fits their needs. We've found lots of adults love this tool as well, due to the lighter weight and ease of use.

The shape combines the same features as our Pro Trail Tool, with the rake teeth moved to the long edge. This tools comes with our 105cm handle offering a smaller size for smaller hands and reach.

Tool head made from Australian made high carbon spring steel hardened to 52-55Rc, the 3mm thickness is thicker than most other Rakehoe's on the market, yet is thinner than trail tools made from wear plate steel, keeping the weight of the tool down and provides long lasting durability, toughness and strength.

The pultruded fibreglass handle is 25mm diameter and can be up to 110cm long. It has a slight texture for added grip with excellent shock absorbing qualities, yet it is still incredibly strong and durable. This is clamped into our small aluminium connector and bolted together using M6 stainless steel carriage bolts and nylock nuts for strength and easy servicing.

Handle and tool head are available separately for replacements.
