Pro Trail Tool - Large

This is the largest of our Pro Trail Tool models yet it is smaller than our original trail tool and a similar size to a standard Rakehoe.  Built to handle all the hard work and move lots of dirt and with a 150cm handle it's great for taller adults who want a longer handle for reach and comfort.

All our Pro Trail Tools have IMBA trail alignment angles built into their design for easy trail alignment checks, a 5%, 10%  and 15% angles are integrated into the design.

• 4 short and wide prong rake teeth effectively can rake bark, twigs and leaves and are stiff and strong for busting dirt clumps
• Unique curved scraper edge, that is great for shaping corners, drains and other trail features
• Flat and wide scraper edge
• Narrow sharpened cutting edge for maximum cutting efficiency. 
• Bolt together construction allows for easy parts replacement or maintenance
• Forward weight balance making swinging motion more effective
• 30deg chisel cut edges make sharpening easy to do even with a file. See tech page on how to do this safely.

Made from hardened Australian made high carbon spring steel, the 3mm thickness is thicker than most other Rakehoe's on the market and provides long lasting durability, toughness and strength, yet is thinner than trail tools made from wear plate steel, keeping the weight of the tool down, even for it's size. Hardened to 52 to 55 Rc.

The 150cm pultruded fibreglass handle is 32mmm diameter and has a slight texture for added grip. The shock absorbing qualities of the handle is better than timber alternatives, yet it is still incredibly strong and durable. This is clamped into our large aluminium connector and bolted together using M8 stainless steel carriage bolts and nylock nuts for strength and easy servicing.
