Pro Trail Tool - Small

This is our smallest trail tool and was originally developed with feedback from the Jindabyne Trail Stewardship as a kids trail tool, and is perfect for sharing the trail building and maintenance experience with the whole family. Its based on the original Pro Trail Tool and shares the same unique shape and features.

We've found that many adults love using this tool as well, because of its light weight, smaller handle diameter and shorter length it makes this tool easy to use even 1 handed. It's light to pack in or strap to your bike and perfect for lighter trail duties. 

• 3 short and wide prong rake teeth effectively can rake bark, twigs and leaves and are stiff and strong for busting dirt clumps
• Unique curved scraper edge, that is great for shaping corners, drains and other trail features
• Flat scraper edge, set at 5% angle to the rake teeth allowing quick trail alignment checks and trail outslope - see tech page on how this works
• Sharpened cutting edge and easily chips and digs hard dirt or cuts tree roots
• Bolt together construction allows for easy parts replacement or maintenance

Made from hardened Australian made high carbon spring steel, the 3mm thickness is thicker than most other Rakehoe's on the market and provides long lasting durability, toughness and strength.

The 110cm pultruded fibreglass handle is 25mm diameter and is easier to hold for smaller hands,  adding shock absorption and is much lighter than timber alternatives. This is clamped into our aluminium connector and bolted together using M6 stainless steel carriage bolts and nylock nuts for strength and easy servicing.

This is the only small sized trail building specific tool on the market and it works just as well in the garden or in the sandpit.
